At a young age Dayna moved to New York City to pursue a career in hairstyling. Dayna's interest in styling hair began where it does for many girls- with her Barbie dolls. What began as a hobby was realized to be the perfect professional outlet for Dayna- as a natural creative thinker and bright conversationalist. As Dayna grew up, so did her talent, leading her to Arrojo cosmetology school. There was when Dayna learned she wanted to specialize as a stylist; dressing and cutting hair. Upon graduation, Dayna joined the team at Ted Gibson Salon in 2011, where she excelled through the associate program and is now one of the most requested talents in the salon. As she continues to acquire new skills behind the chair, Dayna is now an educator for the up and coming new talent at the salon.

To date, Dayna’s credits include working at both spring and fall New York fashion week for designers such as Carmen Marc Valvo, Rachel Roy, Lela Rose, and Pamella Roland. Dayna has also done work for designers Dolce and Gabana and Elie Tahari. She has been quoted in articles for self.com and elle.com. She has enjoyed working behind the scenes on Good Morning America, Live with Kelly and Michael, and The Rachael Ray Show. Assisting Ted Gibson has led her to work with celebs such as Uma Thurman, Elizabeth Olsen, Ashley Greene, and Katharine McPhee. All for covers such as Seventeen, British GQ, Gotham, Bullet and Women's Health Magazine. Dayna has also had the pleasure of personally styling the tresses for celebs such as Cynthia Nixon, Britany Snow, Idina Menzel, and Adrienne Bailon. Dayna is certified in Great Length extensions, and is quickly becoming known for her natural looking sew in extensions to transform her clients length and fullness. She excels in effortless looking layers, soft sexy waves, and the most current hairstyles.
